True repentance doesn’t stop at confessing sin—it leads to real change. But change doesn’t happen through human effort alone. It’s only possible by the power of the Holy Spirit. On our own, we are weak. But through Christ, we have victory.
“Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” – Galatians 5:16
Many believers feel defeated because they repented but never fully surrendered. They stop praying like they did when seeking forgiveness. As a result, they drift back into the grip of the enemy. But God has given us His Spirit to lead us daily into freedom and holiness.
Don't rely on your strength. The human nature is drawn to sin—but Jesus broke sin’s power at the cross. He died so you could be free, and He gave you His Spirit to help you live that freedom out.
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” – 2 Timothy 1:7
Commit to stay close to God. Even when the flesh is weak, let your heart keep seeking Him. He will never leave those who earnestly seek Him. Don’t just try harder—pray deeper. Trust Him more. Let the Spirit lead your steps.
“It is not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord. – Zechariah 4:6
“Lord Jesus, I cannot overcome sin without You. Strengthen me through Your Spirit to walk in holiness. Help me to turn away completely from everything that displeases You. Make me new, and use my life for Your glory. In Your name I pray, Amen.”
