When life feels like it’s collapsing and God seems silent, it’s easy to believe a lie: that He doesn’t care. I’ve been there—spiritually drowning, begging God for help, and wondering if He was listening. But in the silence, I discovered something deeper than answers: His love was still present, even when I couldn’t feel it.
We often associate God’s love with immediate rescue. We think: “If He loves me, He’ll fix this now.” But love isn’t always loud. Sometimes, love waits. God’s silence isn’t absence—it’s invitation.
"Be still, and know that I am God." – Psalm 46:10
In the stillness, we are stripped of distractions and drawn to God—not just for what He can do, but for who He is.
On the cross, Jesus cried out, “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). He felt what we feel. And yet, He trusted the Father even when everything was dark. That same Jesus walks with you now—even in your drowning.
Your emotions may shift like waves—but God’s love remains. He sees your tears, even the ones no one else knows about. He hears the cries you whisper in your heart. He is not ignoring you. He is near.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." – Psalm 34:18
You may be drowning—but you’re not forgotten. His hand is reaching for you, even now.

Father God, I feel overwhelmed at times, like the waters are too deep. But I believe You are with me. Remind me of Your love when I feel unworthy. Lift me from the waves of doubt and help me rest in Your truth. Thank You for loving me even when I can’t love myself. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
